Earl Norton: TREASURE Forest landowner
“Congratulations to a good steward! Landowner Earl Norton was certified as a TREASURE Forest at the January 2019 meeting of the TREASURE Forest Certification Committee. On March 5, some of that group gathered at his west Chambers County property to present his certificate and sign. Mr. Norton has been working hard over the last 20 years to transform the property from a clear-cut with a roadside garbage dump, to a well-managed, beautiful TREASURE Forest. AFC Forester Matthew Lowe was not able to attend the presentation, but was helpful in making the event occur.” (From the Alabama Forestry Commission’s Facebook Page)
